SJ Whitaker, a native Texan through and through, has vigorously specialized in family law and personal injury for more than 13 years. As a graduate of Abilene Christian University, SJ is faith-driven both in her personal life and in her work life. After personally experiencing a high-conflict divorce herself in 2004, SJ developed a passion for law and a desire to advocate for others. Thus, she went on to pursue her law degree, graduating from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas in 2008.

While working along-side a seasoned lawyer who served as her mentor, SJ built a solid reputation for herself and decided to start her own law firm. In 2010, she took a leap of faith as a solo practitioner and established the Law Office of SJ Whitaker.

SJ is both passionate and dedicated to her clients as she loyally represents them and seeks their best interest. She is not only an attorney, but serves as a counselor to them as well.
